We may use third-party analytics and monitoring tools to better understand how users interact with the Services. These tools may be provided by third-party vendors that collect or receive information through cookies, pixels, SDKs, log files, device identifiers, and similar technologies when you access or use the Services.

These third-party providers may collect or receive information such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, pages or screens viewed, interactions with the Services, approximate location information, referring URLs, timestamps, session information, and other technical or usage data. 5. Data Ownership & Use of Inspection Data

Data Ownership and Derived Data Rights

Inspection reports, images, videos, metadata, analytics, scores, workflows, compliance assessments, and other outputs generated through the Services (“Inspection Data”) are owned by Bright Inspect, LLC, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bright Inspect retains all right, title, and interest in and to any inspection outputs, derived data, aggregated data, analytics, models, system intelligence, benchmarks, and insights generated from or through the Services, including where such outputs are derived from or incorporate user-provided information, vehicle data, or inspection inputs.

Bright Inspect may retain, use, analyze, aggregate, anonymize, and process Inspection Data for purposes including:

  • operating and improving the Services;
  • quality assurance and auditing;
  • compliance verification and reporting;
  • analytics, benchmarking, and trend analysis;
  • development of new products, features, and services; and
  • legal, regulatory, and risk management purposes.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits any rights individuals may have under applicable privacy or data protection laws with respect to their personal information.


6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, alteration, misuse, destruction, or loss. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of the Services provided, applicable program requirements, legal obligations, dispute risk, and whether the information is needed for security, backup, business continuity, or recordkeeping purposes.
